Core Function of a Static Toolholder

A static toolholder does not rotate. It secures the cutting tool firmly on the turret and transfers cutting forces effectively. Although its structure is simple, rigidity and positioning accuracy are critical; even slight displacement or runout can appear directly on the workpiece surface.

Turret Interfaces: VDI and BMT

• VDI: A round shank with rack clamping for fast tool changes and broad compatibility

• BMT: Face mounting with bolts for a larger contact area, greater rigidity, and strong heavy-cutting performance

The turret interface is determined by the machine and cannot be selected independently. Before ordering, confirm the turret model, size, and interface specification.
